Those who believe in Jesus believe in God's word. Those who persecute others do so because spirits of persecution have entered them. Those who speak the word of God do so because the spirit of the word—the spirit of God—has entered them (refer to Jn 3:31-34, Jn 14:23-24; 1 Jn 4:1-6).
According to the Bible, it was the pastors and elders who held to their traditions who persecuted the messengers God sent generation after generation (refer to Mt 5:10-12, Mt 23:33-34, Mt 27:1-2; Acts 7:51-54). They did this all while claiming to believe deeply in God and to be orthodox. Those who were persecuted, on the other hand, were actually the messengers sent by God in each generation. Who belongs to God: those who persecute or those who are persecuted? Who goes to heaven and who goes to hell? Just like the times of Noah and Lot, we must be careful to choose the path to salvation instead of persecuting others and being destroyed.
Persecutors always begin to persecute when they realize that someone knows something they do not know. When the persecutors see others who can do things they cannot do, their pride is injured and they grow envious. This is how persecution begins.
You, who persecute will starve, while we, who are persecuted, eat and drink our fill. You people are like the darkest night, while we shine as bright as day. You will be cursed and we will be blessed (refer to Mt 25). The devil and his persecutors will soon be thrown into the abyss and punished for eternity (refer to Rv 20:2-3). Today, we who have received persecution together with Jesus because of the word of God will receive the glory of eternal life and inherit the paradise of the kingdom of heaven (refer to Rv 22:1-5).

This means that all nations (ships on the sea) have collapsed under the ecclesiastical authority and power of Babylon (Rv 18:2-3), which is the organization of the great prostitute.
Revelation records the events that occur in the time of the second coming of the Lord, which is also the end of the age of Spiritual Israel.
The end of Spiritual Israel occurs in Rv 6. Then, after Rv 6, New Spiritual Israel, which is led by the one who overcomes, is created in Rv 7. Surely they know very well who the destroyers really are.

Those who hear these words of life without understanding them will refuse to leave their own churches. They will continue to believe that their own churches are orthodox. These people will be destroyed along with Babylon.

The kings of the earth are pastors who belong to the spiritual nation of Babylon. The merchants of the earth are evangelists who belong to the pastors of Babylon. The prostitute of Babylon rules over the beast with the seven heads and ten horns (Rv 17:3). The seven heads of this beast represent seven hills, which are also seven kings (Rv 17:7-10). These seven kings are seven pastors in a leadership position over the kings of the earth. The peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages in Rv 17:15 encompass all the pastors and congregation members of Babylon. In other words, they are like the scribes and Pharisees who took over Jerusalem and whom Jesus called serpents in the time of his first coming (Mt 23). They are the pastors and congregation members that belong to the denominations of the spiritual nation of Babylon--the kingdom that has destroyed the tabernacle of heaven according to Rv 13 with its ecclesiastical authority today at the time of Revelation's fulfillment.

Babylon is the kingdom of demons that destroyed God's chosen people of Jerusalem in the time of the Old Testament. This nation is used figuratively in Rv 18:2 to prophesy about the future. Babylon refers to the prostitute (i.e. the mother of all the detestable things of the earth) and her organization. According to Rv 17, this prostitute and her organization have been reigning over the kings (pastors) of the earth. This prostitute should not be understood literally either. As a figurative woman, the prostitute symbolizes a pastor who, instead of marrying and belonging to Jesus, marries and belongs to the devil. She has given birth to Satan’s children by receiving his seed (word).
The wine of adultery in Rv 18:3 represents the doctrines and biblical commentaries this prostitute received from the devil. This wine of adultery caused all nations—including the congregation members of God's kingdom—to collapse. It through this wine of adultery that the kings (pastors) of all nations became possessions of the prostitute and committed spiritual adultery with Satan, their groom. Furthermore, it is through the authority of Babylon's excessive luxuries (her ecclesiastical authority) that the spiritual merchants have grown rich by doing business with the earth. Plainly speaking, these merchants represent evangelists, and the earth refers to the congregation members of Babylon, who have returned to being mere flesh.
Let us understand more about the prostitute's excessive luxuries.
Of course, her excessive luxuries should be understood figuratively. In Rv 17:4, the prostitute’s spiritual clothes are a means of expressing her wealth and authority. She is dressed in purple and scarlet and was glittering with gold, precious stones, and pearls. These spiritual clothes represent all the doctrines she has collected and all the degrees and certificates her people have received by formally studying theology in Babylon. They have used their studies to amass ecclesiastical authority.
What, then, does it mean for the merchants of the earth to grow rich from Babylon’s excessive luxuries? This means they have become rich while evangelizing others with the authority they obtained from Babylon and by its doctrines (spiritual goods).
Today is the time for Revelation to be fulfilled and for Spiritual Israel to come to an end. Now, in the end times for Spiritual Israel, Jesus has come as a spirit and is carrying out the work of redeeming his people from Babylon. Just as both Rv 17:14 and Rv 18:4 explain, Jesus is calling out to his people who are captured in Babylon, "Come out of her my people!" The time has now come for Jesus to deliver his people from Babylon.
Since this is the testimony from the witness who has seen and heard the physical fulfillment, this testimony is the truth. Jesus promised that the time of his second coming would be like the times of Noah and Lot (Lk 17:26-33), and that anyone who sees the abomination that causes desolation standing in the holy place must flee to Mt. Zion (Mt 24:15-21). People who believe in and strive to keep these promises of Jesus will also believe and act according to the Bible and its physical fulfillment.
