Shincheonji - 39 - The Betrayer Who is Prophesied in the New Testament

The correct understanding of the BIBLE and of SHINCHEONJI (The New Heaven and New Earth)
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.

The New Testament prophesies about the betrayers, destroyers and savior of the time of the second coming (2 Thes 2:1-4). To master the Bible and to acquire the knowledge by which we are saved, all believers must recognize which of these organizations to which they belong.

Who are the betrayers? The New Testament talks about two different types of betrayers. One is the congregation of the first tabernacle, who betrayed God by receiving the mark of the beast and worshipping the beast when the organization of the dragon (i.e. the destroyers) invaded the tabernacle of God at the end of the age of Spiritual Israel (Rv 13). These betraying congregation members were destroyed by the maddening wine of adultery, which intoxicates all nations and leads them astray (Rv 17, 18). The savior finally appeared (Rv 14) when Spiritual Israel was destroyed by the beast because of its betrayal. After this, some people (amongst those who are saved) betray the one that carried out the work of salvation. This is another type of betrayer. These betrayers accepted the savior, who is in the Lord, into their hearts. They cleansed their hearts with the water of the word. In spite of all this, however, these people became betrayers out of their desire for a higher position. They created their own sects out of greed, deception, doubt, and disobedience (Jas 1:15; Jude 1:17-19). As a result, the savior, who is in the Lord, left their hearts. The hearts of these betrayers became a swept, vacant room. When the evil spirits that were in their hearts before they received salvation returned and found their house (heart) swept clean, the evil spirits enter each heart with seven other spirits more wicked that themselves (Mt 12:43-45). With all of these new and more wicked evil spirits living within their hearts, isn’t the final condition of this type of betrayer seven times worse than before? This parable explains what happens to people who fail to keep the word they received from the savior (Rv 1:3). Today, some people have indeed left the 12 tribes of Shinchonji (SCJ). They left their positions of authority, and abandoned their own home (Jude 1:6). Like Cain and Balaam (Jude 1:11), they created sects, opposed God’s work, and deceived the saints (our congregation members). They are the antichrists that have appeared according to prophecy (1Jn 2:18-19; Jude 1:17-19; Mt 24:24-25).

The savior comes after the betrayal of the chosen people and after the destruction of those chosen people by the destroyers. The savior is the one who gives the “food at the proper time” mentioned in Mt 24:45-47, and the “other Counselor,” who comes in the name of Lord after receiving the spirit of truth (Jn 14:16-17; Jn 16:14). He is also the one promised in Rv 2-3 who fights and overcomes the Nicolaitans (Rv 12). He is anointed by Jesus in Rev 1, and according to the commands he receives, he writes letters (Rv 2-3) to the seven stars (i.e. the seven messengers of the seven golden lampstands). Furthermore, he is the one who receives the open scroll from heaven (Rv 10) and the one who delivers that message to those whom he is commanded. He is the one who has seen the physical fulfillment of the events of Revelation and the only one who can testify about them (Rv 1:2; Rv 22:8, 16).

It is unfortunate that some of those whom the savior saved betrayed him, some were abandoned, and some were kicked out because of sin. The following passages testify about them: Mt 13:48-50; Lk 13:26-30; Heb 6:3-6, and Mk 13:19-22.

The angels that sinned in the spiritual world and were thrown out of heaven always work to oppose God (Ez 28; Is 14:12-15). Today, too, is it right for people who fell away from the faith and who left God’s church to oppose that church?

At the time of betrayal, destruction, and salvation, the betrayers are those who leave their teacher to follow another pastor and that pastor’s words. This kind of person is an antichrist who has become a branch of a corrupt and wild vine that belongs to the gentiles (Jer 2:21) and bears bad fruit (Is 5:1-7). Shinchonji Church of Jesus is a holy creation of God, who is fair and just. Some people among us have been thrown out because of their sins and some have who betrayed, stolen our words, created their own sects, and abandoned SCJ. As stated above, all of this has occurred in fulfillment of the prophecies, which say that some people will leave God’s kingdom and do evil in order to oppose the organization they left (1Jn 2:18-19, Mt 24:24-25). The final outcome of their actions is judgment (Rev 20:12).

Everyone who believes and keeps God’s words of promise will be saved (Mt 7:21). People should not use the teachings of men (Is 29:9-13) to argue against God’s revelation (Mt 11:27; Rv 10:8-11). Instead, they should use the Bible to verify whether the testimony they are hearing is true, and if it is, they should wholeheartedly believe.
