The New Heaven and the New Earth, the First Heaven & the First Earth, & the Sea

The New Heaven and the New Earth,
the First Heaven & the First Earth, & the Sea

Main reference: Rv 21

What do the new heaven and the new earth refer to? What do the first heaven and the first earth, and sea refer to?
The main passage says, “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.” In the heavens, there are the heavenly elements. There are the creations like people, animals, plants, trees, and flowers on the earth, and things like corals and fish in the sea.
Even if the earth were able to pass away, how could the blue sky cease to exist? Hence, the main passage is using heaven and earth figuratively. The first heaven symbolizes the Tabernacle Church from the previous heaven (the work of heaven for the last 2,000 years). The first earth symbolizes the congregation members or flesh that are created from the dust and return to dust again. The sea symbolizes the pastors of the world (the beast, the group of the dragon in Rv 17) who entered the tabernacle of heaven (Rv 13).

According to Rv 13, the beast with seven heads and ten horns invaded the tabernacle of heaven and devoured the congregation members of the tabernacle of heaven just like in the days of Noah. This beast is referred to as many waters, that is, the sea in Rv 17 (Ref: Rv 17:1, 3).

The congregation members of the tabernacle of heaven ceased to exist in Rv 13 because of the beast with seven heads and ten horns. The dragon and his messengers (many waters), too, were expelled from heaven in Rv 12 as a result of being defeated by the spirits of heaven and the male child (the child born from the woman clothed in the sun) and his brothers. The male child and his brothers were victorious over the dragon and his messengers by the blood of Jesus and the word of testimony.

The dragon was seized and locked up in the Abyss by an angel in Rv 20. The beast with seven heads and ten horns and the false prophet (pastor) were also captured in Rv 19, and they were thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur (Rv 19:20). These two false pastors were the beast in Rv 13 (the beast with seven heads and ten horns that came out of the sea in Rv 13:1), and the one who came from the earth and performed miraculous signs (Rv 13:11-14). Since they were captured into the Abyss and thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, this is figuratively referred to as the disappearing of the first heaven (the tabernacle of heaven), first earth (the congregation members of the tabernacle of heaven), and the sea (the beast, the group of the dragon).

The sin of the congregation members of the first heaven (Tabernacle Temple) was to receive the mark of the beast and worship the beast in Rv 13. The sin of the beast, the pastor of the dragon, was to destroy and devour God’s tabernacle and his congregation members. They came to disappear when they were judged in Rv 13, Rv 16, and Rv 18.The sun, moon, and stars (God’s chosen people) were banished from heaven in Rv 6. Their tabernacle—the tabernacle in Rv 13 and in Rv 6 refers to the same tabernacle—was conquered in Rv 13. They were killed by the group of Satan in Rv 8 and Rv 9.

Jesus, the male child, and his brothers witnessed these events in Rv 12. The child and his brothers became the bowls of wrath in Rv 15, and they judged the betrayers and the destroyers in Rv 16 and Rv 18. Judging them is the same as butchering the beast and the oxen (Mt 22:4; Rv 19:17-18). As the beast and the oxen were captured, guests were invited to the wedding supper of the lamb in Rv 19, which is the wedding banquet promised in Mt 22 and Mt 25. Being invited to the wedding banquet and being chosen (Mt 22:14) is to be harvested and sealed, to prepare the lamp and the oil, to change his robe to the wedding garments, and to take part in the first resurrection where spirits and flesh become one together in Rv 20.

According to the promise of Rv 3, one can receive God, the holy city coming down from heaven (Rv 21:2, 10), and Jesus’ name (Rv 3:12) by overcoming. This wedding banquet is the feast that brings God’s kingdom and salvation (Rv 12:10-11).

The previous heaven disappears due to its corruption and betrayal. Look at the Christian Council of Korea. It has been divided into two groups because of money. They are disputing against each other over money and authority. By calling each other a cult, they are testifying for themselves that they both are in fact heresies.
The tabernacle that betrayed—the corrupt previous-heaven—and its saints are the first heaven and first earth. The group of the dragon, the beast, or the false pastor, is the sea. After this first heaven, first earth, and sea were brought to an end, the twelve tribes of New Spiritual Israel, the kingdom of victory and salvation, has been established. This kingdom is the new heaven and new earth.

After the tabernacle of the previous-heaven (the first heaven) in Rv 13 came to an end, the new temple, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony of the latter-heaven (the new heaven) has been constructed in Rv 15 through people who overcame. After the congregation members of the tabernacle of the previous-heaven (the first earth) came to an end, people have been harvested, sealed, and born again to be new creatures. They are the new congregation members of the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony of the latter heaven. They have become the new earth. It is upon this place that God and the holy city are going to descend according to the promises in Rv 2 and Rv 3. When they descend upon the new heaven and new earth, sorrow, grief, mourning, and death will no longer exist, and the Sabbath rest and peace will come. God will reign over all nations and renew them (Rv 21:1-5; Rv 19:6). This is the era of the new heaven that all things have been eagerly waiting for. If the new heaven and new earth are shortened in Korean, it is called Shinchonji.

Whoever refuses to believe in this Shinchonji and labels it as a heresy is a heretic. Whoever labels Shinchonji, the creation of God, as a heresy, labels God as a heretic. Whoever labels God as a heretic is the devil.
Shinchonji is the new heaven God has created as a result of having worked for the last 6,000 years. It is the heaven for the righteous who will live with God for eternity. This is God’s purpose, and this is the kingdom of hope of the believers. The purpose of God and the purpose of the believers’ life of faith is also this new heaven. Those who believe in this will attain salvation, heaven, and eternal life.

*Note: The translated sentence in the article, "This is the era of the new heaven that all things have been eagerly waiting for," is a translation and a reference to an old (around 1500s) Korean prophecy: "만물고대 신천운세(萬物苦待新天運勢)."
