The Messenger who Prepares the Way at the First Coming and at the Second Coming

The Messenger who Prepares the Way at the First Coming and at the Second Coming

Main references: Mt 11:10-15, Rv 1, 2, 3

How is the messenger who prepares the way at the First Coming different from the one at the Second Coming?

At the time of Moses, Moses made seven lamps and prepared twelve loaves of bread according to what he had seen in heaven (Ex 25). As seen in Rv 4, there were seven lamps in front of the throne.

First, what we must come to understand regards the history of religion. The events that occur in the spiritual world also occur in the physical world. And it all had begun when the spirits from the spiritual world worked through the flesh of the physical world.

As the main reference states, the messenger who prepares the Lord’s way appears first. Then, the promised Pastor appears. At the time of the First Coming, the messenger who prepared the way was John the Baptist (Mt 11:10-15), and at the Second Coming, the messenger was Mr. Yoo, the head of the seven stars. At the time of the First Coming, the messenger who prepared the way abandoned his flock of sheep and ran away (Jn 10). Likewise, the messenger who prepared the way at the Second Coming also abandoned his flock of sheep and ran away (Rv 12). Because of such an event, heaven — referring to the church and its flock of sheep — were invaded by the enemy. At both the First Coming and the Second Coming, the messenger who prepared the way, the hired hand, ran away when he saw the wolf coming. Was it right to fight for his flock of sheep and heaven, or to abandon his sheep and run away only for his own sake? A true shepherd will fight with all his life for his flock of sheep and heaven.

At the time of the Second Coming, the true pastor, the promised pastor, who witnesses the messenger who prepares the way abandon his flock of sheep and run away, sends the letter to the messenger who prepares the way and commands him to repent and overcome. If he overcomes, he will receive the 12 kinds of blessings recorded in Rv 2 and 3. Who does he have to overcome? He has to overcome the pastor of Satan who had invaded the tabernacle. The pastor who prepared the way received the letter, but he still abandoned his flock of sheep and ran away, despite that fact that he should have fought with his opponent, the pastor of Satan. Thus, the promised pastor was the only remaining person to fight with the pastor of Satan.

The situation is the same at the Second Coming as what occurred at the First Coming. Throughout the history of God’s work, from the time of Adam until today, Satan and the pastor of Satan have always been disrupting the work of the promised pastor whenever he has appeared. So why must the pastor who prepares the way come first? If Satan were allowed to just sit and watch the pastor who prepares the way carry out his work, the work of God would surely prosper. However, it is only after Satan invades the tabernacle of the pastor who prepares the way we are able to identify that particular entity of Satan’s organization. Therefore, the work of preparing the way is a method to capture Satan. As stated in Rv 13 and Rv 2 and 3, the reality of Satan and Satan’s pastor is revealed. So this reality becomes the proof of evidence that the word of prophecy has been fulfilled.

It is only after realizing such a reality that a person is able to avoid deception and overcome Satan. God has been preparing to accomplish this very purpose. The purpose of allowing Satan to disrupt the tabernacle that prepared the way and its pastor was to reveal their true identities. The event has begun with the one who prepared the way, and through this very event, the destroyer invaded the place. Because the tabernacle of the chosen people that prepared the way was defeated, the people betrayed by receiving the mark of the beast and worshipped him. The one who invaded the tabernacle of the chosen people was able to be identified as the destroyer. After this event took place, the salvation and kingdom appeared through the victory over Satan’s group with the word of testimony as recorded in Rv 12.

To say that one believes in God and Jesus, one must believe and perceive the promise of the Bible — the prophecy and the fulfillment that took place according to the prophecy. One must not betray nor receive destruction through his faith in order to enter heaven, the promised kingdom, where God and His true pastor are. Through this kind of faith, believers can achieve salvation and fulfill their objective.

Among many nations of the world, only Shincheonji has mastered the prophecy of Revelation — the event that occurs at the end of the age. We have seen the event that took place at the location of the entirety of Revelation without any omission (refer to Rv 1:1-2). We have seen and heard of the entities of the betrayer and the destroyer (the pastor of Satan), and we know who had fought with whom and who were defeated. The defeated ones have fled in seven directions, and the ones who were victorious have become the New Spiritual Israel and established the 12 tribes of God’s kingdom by harvesting and sealing. Furthermore, we know exactly where God, Jesus, and heaven descended upon, and have seen the place where all nations will gather to worship.

For those believers who have hopes of heaven, they must come before God and enter heaven. The one who overcomes, the promised pastor, knows where God, Jesus, and heaven are. No one can come before God and enter heaven without first coming to the one who overcomes. Heaven and God are at the place of Rv 3:12. It is the place where all nations must come to worship (Rv 15).
