What is the tree of life and its fruit, and what is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and its fruit? The tree of life is God, and its fruit is the true Word of God. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is the devil, and its fruit is the devil’s lies.
In the main reference, it is said that if you eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you will surely die. And if you eat the fruit of the tree of life, you will live forever (Gn 2:17; 3:22). Whether people live or die depends on the fruit of these two kinds of trees. The beginning of sin and death was due to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but living eternally depends on the fruit of the tree of life.
Those who want to be saved through the Bible should first know these two kinds of trees and their characteristics. Furthermore, knowing these two kinds of trees can be everything in a life of faith. Since being saved or going to hell depends on these two kinds of trees, knowing about them is directly connected to salvation.
Since the time of Adam 6,000 years ago, where have these two kinds of trees been and where are they now? If the famous and popular pastors are orthodox, then why have they not taught and shown the true entities of these two kinds of trees and their fruits before today?
Even though Adam and Eve failed to keep and believe the Word of God (request and warning) about these two kinds of trees and their fruits, we as believers of today, must not eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that God told us not to eat, but only eat the fruit of the tree of life.
Two kinds of trees in the Garden of Eden, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, appear in the book of Revelation. If you are a true believer, you will want to know about these two kinds of trees, whereas if the purpose [of your life of faith] is not to achieve a true life of faith, but for a worldly life by using the words ‘God’ and ‘life of faith’, then you will be indifferent to these two kinds of trees.
Let us look at the two kinds of trees which appear in Genesis, the First Coming of Jesus, and the Second Coming which is at the time of Revelation’s fulfillment. In Psalms 78, God said, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter hidden things, things from of old.” And God who said this sent Jesus who spoke in parables. This is written in Matthew 13:34-35. There were hidden things from of old, Jesus (God through Jesus) revealed them, but only spoke in parables, and said there would eventually be a time to speak plainly (Jn 16:25). Thus it can be said that the hidden things from of old (the secret of the Kingdom of Heaven) are in the parables of Jesus.
In Isaiah 5, it is said that God planted the choicest vines, then He looked for a crop of good grapes, but it yielded only wild grapes. These vines were the men of Israel (Judah). It figuratively compared men to vines by using trees (vines). Similarly, Jesus, sent by God, was the true vine in John 15 and his disciples were the branches. Jesus said that if the branch remains in the vine (if you remain in me), it will bear much fruit.
In addition, a serpent, that is, Nebuchadnezzar, a king of Babylon in the nation of the devil, was referred to as a large tree with abundant fruit in Daniel 4. And in Revelation 18, Babylon was described as a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.
Jesus was the true vine and the king of Babylon was the wild grape that the beasts of the field dwell under. In Deuteronomy 32:33, it is said that the wine from the wild grapes is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobras. If a person is a vine, then who do you think is the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Which tree is Jesus who is the king of the kingdom of Heaven or Nebuchadnezzar who is the king of Babylon, a nation of demons?
In John 1:1-4, it is said the Word in the beginning was God, without the Word nothing was made that has been made, and this Word was life and light. In Luke 8:11, it is said the seed was the Word of God. If the seed of life is planted, then the tree of life grows. Therefore, someone born with the seed of life of God who is the source of life is the tree of life and its branch and fruit. On the other hand, someone born with the seed of evil of the dragon, the devil, is the tree of death, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
If someone eats the fruit of the tree of life, they will live forever (Gn 3:22), and if someone eats the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, they will die (Gn 2:17). Also in James 1:18, it is said [God] chose to give us birth through the word of truth that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all He created. This means that someone becomes a fruit through the Word. So, a person is the tree, and the fruit of this tree is the word of this person. Looking at this, both the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil are spirits and people, and their fruits are the words of spirits and people.
The seed of God is the Word of God and the seed of the devil is the word of the devil (refer to Jer 31:27, Mt 13:24-30, 38-39, Lk 8:11), and the word (the Word) is god (Jn 10:35). A person born with God’s seed of life is the tree of life and a person born with the devil’s seed of evil is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil of death. The Truth is God’s Word which is the seed of life, and the un-truth or lies, is the devil’s word which is the weed of death.
One should know from whose seed they were born based on the Bible. If they are born from the seed of the devil’s un-truth, then they have to be born again with the seed of truth, life and the Spirit in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Jn 3:5-6). Simply put, the tree of life is God and His people, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is the dragon and his people.
Next, let us summarize about the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In Isaiah 5, when it says the choicest vines yielded wild grapes, this means that the chosen people of God gave birth to fruit by receiving the spirit of the devil (dragon). And God (spirit) is the Kingdom of Heaven and Jesus (flesh) is the vine of the Kingdom of Heaven (Jn 15:1-5, Mt 13:24-32, Rv 22:1-2). The tree of life yields twelve crops of fruit every year through the twelve disciples, the bird that perches in this tree is holy spirit, and the leaves of this tree are for the healing all nations (Ez 47:12, Rv 22:2).
On the other hand, the dragon (spirit) is the nation of hell, the Abyss. And King Nebuchadnezzar (flesh) is the wild vine of hell (Dt 32:33, Dn 4:20, Rv 18). This tree's top touched the sky and was visible to the ends of the earth. Beasts found shelter under it, birds lived in its branches, and it yielded abundant fruits that were food for all. Just as Jesus, the son of God, was referred to as a tree, lamb, and stone, the two kinds of trees were also figuratively compared to men by using parables of a tree like the one in Isaiah 5.
The testimony (content) of Genesis was written through Moses by God and told of the events that occurred from the beginning to roughly the time of Moses, so the secret had remained like the one described in Psalms 78. Today, since this secret has been revealed through the fulfillment of Revelation’s prophecy, the promised pastor, the one who overcomes, testified to the physical entities that he saw at the perfect place (refer to 1 Cor 13) in Revelation like in John 16:25. Therefore, this testimony is true.
At the time of Jacob who was the one who overcomes, at the First Coming of Jesus who was also the one who overcomes, and even today, at the time of the one who overcomes which is the time of Revelation’s fulfillment, the 12 tribes or the tree that yields twelve crops of fruit is the tree of life, and its fruits are the congregation members of the 12 tribes born from the seed of life (Jn 1:1-4, Lk 8:11, Mt 13:24).
Jesus revealed the hidden things from of old (two kinds of trees) since the creation of the world through parables, and these were the seed and tree of Matthew 13. And what was revealed plainly (physical entities) is today’s tree of life in Revelation 14 (verse 4) and 22 (verse 2).
If the seed of life is sown, the tree of life will grow. This seed is sown in a field, the heart of a person. The seed of life is the Word of God (Lk 8:11) that is the Word in the beginning in John 1. Therefore, Jesus, who was born of the seed of God, is also the Word (1 Jn 1:1). The Word in the beginning is God, and God is spirit. So, receiving God’s Word in the beginning is the same as receiving the seed of God that is spirit. So, those who received this Word can be called ‘gods’ (Jn 10:35). Thus, those who received the Word in the beginning are God’s offspring (Acts 17:28-29).
Only those not born of the seed of the dragon (Satan, the devil, the serpent), but born of the seed of God can enter the Kingdom of Heaven by becoming the sons of God (Mt 13:37-39). Therefore, at the First Coming of Jesus, two kinds of seeds were sown according to the prophecy of Jeremiah 31. Among the two seeds, one was sown by Jesus and the other was sown by the dragon, that is, the Pharisee pastors. These two kinds of seeds were sown on the same field (church), and today, at the time of harvest (Rv 14:14-20), the new kingdom of 12 tribes was established by harvesting only those born of God’s seed and sealing them (Rv 7). They are the twelve crops of fruit yielded through the word of truth every year from the tree of life (Jas 1:18). The Babylon, the nation of demons where various kinds of denominations and every evil spirit gather (Rv 17, 18), is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and its fruits are the children of the devil born of the weeds who will receive judgment and be thrown into the lake of burning sulfur. Only the fruits of the tree of life, that is, the family of the Mount Zion 12 tribes in Revelation 14, will survive.
Eternal life and the Kingdom of Heaven are greater than the universe. So, we should devote ourselves with all our hearts and effort to gain them. What God gives to everyone according to what he has done is this eternal life and the Kingdom of Heaven.
