The Process of How God Fulfills His Purpose

What is the process of how God fulfills His purpose?

God chose Noah to destroy the world of Adam with a flood after Adam and Eve had sinned by listening to the words of the snake. However, Noah’s second son, Ham, sinned again, so God raised Moses, a descendant of Abraham, and gave the law. This law did not atone a person’s sin (Heb 10), but it was put in charge to lead the people to Christ (Gal 3:23-24). It was only an elementary teaching about Christ (Heb 6:1-2).

After this, God prophesied of future events through the Old Testament prophets and promised to send a specific pastor. When it was time to keep His promise, God came to the physical Israelites with the promised pastor (Jesus) and fulfilled the Old Testament (Jn 19:30). Jesus took up the cross and shed his blood for the sins of all people. He also proclaimed that he was going to return (second coming) to harvest and seal his people and create a new kingdom.

Jesus shed his blood to atone for the sins of a promised group of people. What is harvest? Jesus fulfilled the promises God made through the prophet Jeremiah about a new thing, the planting of the seeds, and a new covenant (Jer 31:22, 27, 31, Mt 1:18-23, 13:24-25, Lk 22:14-20). The harvest is a gathering of the firstfruits that bore from the seed Jesus planted 2,000 years ago at the First Coming (Mt 13:30, Rv 14:14-16).

The new thing is the planting of the seed of heaven’s gospel instead of the law. The new covenant, or the New Testament, is the promise of the events that will fulfill in the Second Coming (Rv 21:6).

Sealing the firstfruits that were harvested refers to the process of writing the promised revealed word in their hearts. In other words, recording the revealed word in the hearts is considered as "sealing" (Jn 3:31-34).

The events that lead up to the creation of the new kingdom in Revelation 21:1 are described in Revelation chapters 6 and 13. The sun, moon, and stars darken and fall from heaven (Mt 24:29 Rv 6:12-13).  The church of Jesus becomes a church following mere traditions. After they crumble and are destroyed by the power of Satan (Rv 18:2-3), God creates a new kingdom of people who were harvested and sealed (Rv 1:5-6, 5:9-10, 7:1-14, 14:1-5, Rv 21).

This is the New Testament and the book of Revelation. When everything is fulfilled in this way, God says in Revelation 21:6, “It is finished."

Prior to this, the events of betrayal and destruction must occur, and then the work of harvesting, sealing, and recreating take place (2 Thes 2:1-3).

After Adam sinned, God fulfilled these events first with the law, which is an elementary teaching about Christ. He then prophesied of the Old Testament through the prophets, had Jesus plant the seed at the time of his first coming, and brought about a new creation during his second coming. So God started to fulfill His purpose with the elementary teachings of Moses’ law, continued with the prophecies of the Old Testament and their fulfillment, and completed it with the prophecies of the New Testament and their fulfillment. Therefore, a believer must leave the elementary teachings and move on to the place of perfection, which is the new kingdom created according to Revelation's fulfillment.

Apostle Paul said that with the faith that should be revealed, one can become a child of God (Gal 3:23-27). One cannot receive salvation solely by claiming that they know the name of God and Jesus, whom he never met. All religion and non-believers know this fact.

There are three different parts to the faith that is to be revealed. One is the revelation through Abraham. Second is the revelation of the Old Testament prophets; for example, revelation (prophecy) in Ezekiel chapter 3 is the revelation from Jesus’ first coming (fulfillment). Another one is the revelation of the New Testament in Jesus’ second coming.

When Apostle Paul said, "Faith to be revealed," he meant the faith of believing in the fulfillment of the prophecies in the book of Revelation.

One does not receive salvation only by believing in the revelation of the prophecies, which are just a mere picture. Salvation is obtained by believing in the words of prophecy according to Revelation 1:1-3 and by taking to heart what is written in it.

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw–that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

What is it that we must take to heart? In order to enter the kingdom of heaven, one must be reborn with God’s seed, be harvested, and sealed. He must belong to the new kingdom of the twelve tribes, not add or take away from Revelation, and have his name recorded in the book of life (refer to 1 Pt 1:23, Rv 7, Rv 14, Rv 22:18-19, 21:27). Just because people say, "God, Jesus, Lord, Lord," does not mean they will enter the kingdom of heaven (Mt 7:21).

God’s long work is finally being fulfilled in Revelation of the New Testament. The goal was to create the new kingdom of the twelve tribes in Revelation. These twelve tribes are God’s kingdom and priests and the great multitude dressed in white (Rv 5:9-10, 7:9-14); they are God’s nation and people. Just for this purpose, God took a long time to fulfill His work. God’s new kingdom is the one on which God, Jesus, and the Holy City New Jerusalem (spiritual heaven) in Revelation 3:12 come down upon.  It is the place where the one who overcomes is at. It is Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony in Revelation 15:4-5, 21:1. Amen.
