The Work of Betrayal, Destruction and Salvation in Revelation

What is the work of betrayal, destruction and salvation in Revelation?

Revelation is a prophecy that is to fulfill in the future.  It is a vision revelation that was shown in advance to disciple John when he was called up to heaven after the ascension of Jesus. When the prophecy fulfills, the betrayers, the destroyers and the savior appear. Anyone who understands the prophecy will recognize these entities by their actions as prophesied in the Bible.



As written in Jn 14:29, Jesus told us this before it happens, so that when it does happen, we will believe. Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament (Jn 19:30) and he also fulfilled the New Testament without adding or subtracting anything from it just as he had promised in Revelation (Rv 21:6, “it is finished”). Anyone who reads Revelation chapters 12, 7, and 5 and perceive the true meaning will acknowledge that Jesus was crucified and shed his blood on that cross for the sake of fulfilling Revelation. (Rv 12:11, 7:14, 5:9-10)


It is impossible for those who do not understand the true meaning of Revelation to perceive its fulfillment. Prophecies are fulfilled only when the betrayers, the destroyers, and the savior appear at the time of Revelation’s fulfillment. Having a true faith is to understand and believe in the fulfillment.  Only by this true faith can we be saved. It is not right to believe or expect to be saved before Revelation fulfills. People can easily say that they are already saved because they do not know the work of Revelation. All the prophecies in the New Testament and including those in the Old Testament point to Revelation. Thus, it is wrong for anyone to believe that he is already saved when Revelation has not yet begun to fulfill.


We must remember Jesus’ promise in Revelation 12 that God's kingdom, power, and salvation come when someone fights and overcomes the group of Satan. If so, how can there be God’s kingdom and salvation before this prophecy is fulfilled? We must believe the promise as written in the Bible.


◆ The Work of Betrayal

The betrayers found in Revelation are the chosen people today, Spiritual Israel. At the time of fulfillment, they are regarded as betrayers for their unbelief in the physical entities of the new covenant (New Testament). They neither believe in the fulfillment of the New Testament nor keep it. Isn’t this betrayal? Therefore, Jesus said that anyone who takes away from the prophecy or adds to the prophecy cannot enter the kingdom of heaven but will receive curses (plaques) (Rv 22:18-19).

Jesus bore the cross, shed his blood, and with his blood he established a new covenant. This is the New Testament. Adding to or subtracting from Revelation, which is the new covenant made with Jesus’ blood, and not believing in it is betrayal—it is betraying God. Just as the pastors and the believers of Jerusalem did not believe in the fulfillment of the Old Testament in the First Coming (Jn 19:30), not believing in the physical fulfillment of Revelation that Jesus promised with his blood is betrayal.

Believing in neither the prophecy nor its fulfillment is an act of betrayal and not believing in God who is the Word. Jn1:1 says the Word from the beginning is God. Therefore, not believing in Revelation, the Word of promise is none other than betrayal.

In Revelation 2, the chosen people who ate the food sacrificed to idols, the teachings of Satan’s Nicolaitans, and committed sexual immoralities are acts of betrayal. In Revelation 13, the chosen people who received the mark of the beast of the dragon and worshiped its image is an act of betrayal. In Revelation 17, the kings (pastors) of the earth and the inhabitants (congregation members) of the earth who ate the maddening wine of adultery, which is Satan’s doctrine, confirm‍ that they betrayed God. According to Revelation 18, all nations have fallen from drinking the maddening wine of adultery. This is the result of betrayal. As written in Revelation 20:12, the betrayers will be condemned to hell according to their actions as recorded in the books. They are the chosen people of Spiritual Israel at the time of the fulfillment of Revelation. If they know that they are the betrayers, they will repent. Re-creation takes place as a result of the chosen people’s betrayal.


   ◆ The Work of Destruction

The destroyers are Satan’s Nicolaitans who, as written in Revelation 2, made the chosen people commit sexual immorality with their god.  The Nicolaitans enticed the people into eating food sacrificed to idols which is their teaching. This is written in Revelation 6 that the beast (pastor of the dragon) killed one-fourth of the congregation members. He is also the star called Wormwood in Revelation 8 who fell from heaven and killed one-third of the chosen people who betrayed by making them drink the bitter water and sea water (sea water that turned into blood). Also in Revelation 9, the two hundred million mounted troops killed the chosen people with their mouths and tails. The power of the horses was in their mouths and tails. They killed one-third of the chosen people with the fire, smoke, and sulfur from their mouths, and their tails that looked like snakes had heads with which they inflict injury on the chosen people. Furthermore, they are the beasts of the dragon in Revelation 13 who made the congregation members receive the mark of the beast on their foreheads and right hands, and made them worship the image of the beast. They are also the seven heads and ten horns of the dragon in Revelation 12; the kingdom of the beast and the kings of all nations in Revelation 16; the prostitute, the seven heads, the ten horns, and the kings of the earth in Revelation 17; the merchants who made all nations fall with the maddening wine of adulteries of Babylon in Revelation 18; the beast and the false prophets in Revelation 19; Satan who is thrown into the Abyss and locked up in Revelation 20; and finally, the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and every who loves and practices falsehood in Revelation 22.

These destroyers deceived the chosen people the same way the serpent deceived Adam.  They caused the people to betray and eventually destroyed them. Thus, the chosen people who betrayed side with the destroyers like Adam. This is the work of the destroyers shown in the book of Revelation.



 ◆ The Work of Salvation

After the work of betrayal and destruction, as mentioned earlier, the savior comes and saves those who are being destroyed (2 Thes 2:1-12). Salvation is bringing out the chosen people from the enemies’ den; the people have been captured by gentile gods and pastors and held captive in those dens by.


In Revelation 2, the savior is the one who sent letters to the seven messengers who had been chosen by the Lord at the Second Coming to prepare the way.  The letters warned them against the Nicolaitans, the synagogue of Satan. In other words, the savior is the one who sent the letters to the messengers of the seven churches urging them to repent from learning the teachings from the spirit of Satan and his pastors.  They ate the food sacrificed to idols and committed adulteries with gentile gods. This savior is the one who overcomes, the promised pastor who works together with Jesus.



After the one who overcomes sent the letters to the messengers of the seven churches on Jesus’ behalf in Revelation 2 and 3, he went up to heaven and saw God’s throne and its structure in Revelation 4. He saw Jesus receive the sealed book from God in Revelation 5 and open the six seals in Revelation 6.  He opened the seventh seal and the sealed book fully opened in Revelation 8. Each time he opened the seals, particular events occurred as recorded in the book of Revelation. This means that the prophecies were fulfilled.


The one who overcomes made known to the chosen people in Revelation 6 that they were being killed by the gentiles one-third at a time as prophesied in Revelation 8 and 9. The one who overcomes urged them to repent seven times as written in Revelation 2 and 3, but they did not listen. So they were killed a third at a time. Their death is not the death of their flesh but their spirit.  Their spirits died the same way Adam’s spirit died.


The one who overcomes received the open book in Revelation 10. As written in Revelation 11, he was killed by the beast while he was testifying to the people, but he was brought back to life. Then, there is a turn of events at the sound of the last seventh trumpet—the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of God (Rv 11:15).  The same content is found in Revelation 12; after the male child born of the woman and his brothers fight and overcome the group of the dragon, the dragon is forced out of heaven and God’s kingdom and salvation finally come. As a result of this victory, the promise in Revelation 2 and 3 is fulfilled.  Finally harvest and the work of sealing begin as prophesied in Revelation 7 and 14 and the twelve tribes of God’s kingdom are established. So this is salvation and the creation of the kingdom. On the other hand, the chosen people who betrayed receive destruction and the dragon’s beast that invaded the tabernacle is thrown out.  This is judgment.



Those who overcome the group of the beast in Revelation 15 become the bowls of God’s wrath. In Revelation 16, the angels from the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony pour out these bowls filled with wrath onto the betrayers and destroyers as a form of judgment. In Revelation 17, the chosen people who are faithful are called out and freed from the enemy (Rv 17:14), and in Revelation 18, Babylon is judged. In Revelation 19, the wedding banquet of the Lamb, prepared with the oxen and fattened cattle (beast), begins (refer to Mt 22:4).


The savior completed all the work of salvation that has been entrusted to him—the work of judgment, harvest, sealing, and the creation of a new kingdom. The prophecy in Revelation 21:6, “It is done,” fulfills as the betrayers, the destroyers, and the savior appear and carry out their respective actions as written in Revelation. God’s command in the New Testament to “believe” is to believe in Revelation. When it fulfills we, too, can say “It is done.” The new kingdom that fulfilled is Shincheonji (new heaven and new earth).


Those who curse Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony that was established according to the Bible, are confirm‍ing that they are the ignorant enemies who received the spirit of Satan. It is a sin to not perceive and believe at the First Coming and the Second Coming. The congregation members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony are testifying to the work of betrayal, destruction, and salvation.  They are proclaiming to the world everyday that the prophecy of Revelation fulfilled today. Whoever believes this will receive salvation.
